18v to 12v power supply

Build quality is faultless, thing that I think could be better, the variable voltage control knob is fine being variable however should be able to lock it off at 12.4v. Why, just incase you knock the knob whilst you have your Engel plugged in and it goes up to a dangerous voltage that may damage the fridge.
Why have it variable at all. Why not just make it 12v, what other appliance runs either more or less?
Also a single usb and a USBC fast charge outlet.
Don’t get me wrong, I like the product, just voicing my opinion.
Keep up the good work
