Nice upgrade.

Works perfectly with my Milwaukee batteries. I like that the trigger is now an on/off trigger so you don’t have to hold it on the whole time while using the vacuum. The RPMs seem to be s little slower but that doesn’t affect the performance. The batteries last longer and if they run out while i’m using the vacuum, I just plug in another battery.

I saw a u tube vid of this product and was impressed, I had bought 2 dystons and both had bad battles so I bought this to use my m18 batteries. I'm so happy with it because not only do I do the whole house on max with a 5ohm m18!!!

Love this adapter!

This is a great adapter for my Dyson! If there is a way to make it more secure towards the front of the adapter for use with bigger/heavier batteries, that would be awesome. The biggest battery I use is a 5ah, mainly for weight reasons. I love the power of my Dyson but it does really drink my batteries quickly especially since I use it on high all the time. That is my only minor issue with this adapter, aside from that it is great!!

Minor adjustments required

The product works great after some adjustments. First, the batteries needed to be the larger newer ones ie 6 ah in order for the dyson to stay running. An internal breaker on the vacuum would trip… probably because the amperage was too high because the voltage is lower in the Makita battery. Second the unit would fall out of the vacuum while in use along with the battery. The small red pin that acts as the lock, filling the hole that was normally the charge port is too light. Suggest strengthening the spring or possibly using more of the locking mechanisms ie the screws that dyson has on the vacuum. I ended up taping a cover over the button so my palm wouldn’t in advertenly push the button and then zip tied the front of the assembly to give it additional support.
